The first volume

One island, three perspectives

Gran Canaria is our base: this is where the Faro Visual studio is, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and from here we begin to explore the territory.

Volume 1 brings together collections inspired by the capital, the southern municipalities and the villages of the north and the summit. On every field trip we capture images and make sketches and colour studies alongside our Garafiano Shepherd Dog, the Lighthouse Keeper, who joins every expedition.

How they work, what you'll find and how to buy.
  • Every island in the archipelago is an expedition. We head out into the land, capture images, make sketches and colour studies, and from that material the artwork collections are born.
  • Volume 1 is Gran Canaria, our base: collections inspired by Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the south (Mogán and San Bartolomé de Tirajana) and the north and summit (Teror, Agaete, Artenara…).
  • The archipelago has eight islands and we'll explore them little by little. Upcoming expeditions appear on the website as a preview: leave your email and we'll let you know when the next one joins.
  • The original artwork (watercolours, mixed media and signature acrylics) opens to the public only once a year through closed capsule collections. Outside those windows the pieces are shown as a gallery and you can join the waiting list.
  • Yes. They are serial reproductions, numbered and signed, with a highly collectible character. They are released once a year.
  • We ship from the Canary Islands to Spain, Germany, France and the United Kingdom. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout according to the destination. Original artwork and limited series are shipped with a personalised quote, which we agree with you before dispatch.
